FAMILY AND FRIENDS

“Throughout most of my adult life, I have entered programs and counselling and seen psychologists, all to figure out how better to serve the addict in my life… Not until this program did, I grasp that I was worthy of healing simply because I, as a human being, deserve my own care and kindness. I came to this program hurt and scared, tonight I finish this program with knowledge, camaraderie and most importantly…hope.”

Family and Friends: Coming Together

At Fresh Start Recovery, we recognize that addiction impacts not only the individual but also their loved ones and friends. Our Family and Friends: Coming Together is a dedicated initiative designed to support those affected by the complexities of loving or caring for someone through addiction, recovery, or loss.

This program goes beyond education it offers a pathway for personal growth and healing. Addiction often reshapes relationships and dynamics in subtle yet significant ways. Our series provides a compassionate and supportive space to explore these changes and develop a deeper understanding of your journey and that of your loved one.

Through guided sessions, participants gain tools to build resilience, foster healthier relationships, and find strength in shared experiences. We welcome you to join us in this meaningful series, standing together as we navigate the path to healing and hope.

The Fresh Start Recovery Family and Friends Coming Together is designed to be accessible to all. It is held for two hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 4 weeks, making it convenient for most schedules. The fee is available on a sliding scale, and we are open to discussing financial assistance to ensure that no one is left behind.

Our team and alumni are committed to your ongoing support. Beyond the series, we host weekly alumni support meetings and events throughout the year, all aimed at fostering connection and camaraderie.
