The Fresh Start Alumni Council brings together volunteers from our treatment and Family and Friends programs. Members help alumni stay connected through gatherings, service and support for one another.
What the Alumni Council Does
The Council meets monthly to plan activities and volunteer opportunities for the Fresh Start community. Service roles include events, communications, birthdays, sports and merchandise.
Members help with Fresh Start events, organize activities and bring alumni together. Treatment and Family and Friends alumni are welcome to get involved.
Volunteering gives alumni a way to support others, build confidence and stay connected to their recovery community.
The Alumni Council’s Annual General Meeting is an opportunity to review the year, discuss Council positions and learn about ways to serve. Contact Carmen Smith at carmen@freshstartrecovery.ca for the next meeting date or to get involved.
